Hochland began doing business in Eastern Europe early on – and was instantly successful. The company has been operating in Poland since 1990. Today Hochland is the best-known cheese brand in all relevant segments.

In 1995 Hochland put its own production plant into operation in Kaźmierz in West Poland, near Poznan/Posen. Hochland now has three plants in Poland which manufacture processed cheese, soft cheese, cream cheese hard cheese and sliced cheese.
