The DLG (German Agricultural Society) Test Center Food & Beverages has presented the company trophy “Award for constant product quality” to the Hochland Deutschland GmbH Heimenkirch.
Cheese manufacturer Hochland and the committees of their milk suppliers agree that in future no non-selective herbicides will be used on their fields or grassland.
The Hochland Group’s increase in sales volume and turnover in 2017 is mainly due to the acquisition of Franklin Foods in the USA. However, high raw material prices affected the result.
Hochland is ranked among of the best employers in Germany. – This is the result of a survey the German magazine Focus Business has created together with the professional network XING and the employer review portal kununu.
With effect from November 30, 2017, Hochland acquired a cheese plant in Belinsky, Russia.
Today, it would probably be called a “start-up business”: With modest means, but all the more energy and adventurous spirit Robert Reich and Georg Summer founded the Hochland cheese factory on September 1, 1927.
