A commitment to people, the environment, and society is central to our identity. Actively shaping society is part of Hochland’s tradition.
Projects and Initiatives
As a family-owned business, we are particularly committed to supporting families, children, and young people, as well as environmental protection. Our focus is on education, equal opportunity, and social cohesion. We support social projects both around our headquarters in Heimenkirch and at our international locations – here are a few examples.
This program supports ten educational centers that bring children and seniors together for intergenerational exchange.
The Ronald McDonald House in Munich-Großhadern provides families with a temporary home while their seriously ill children are undergoing treatment at Großhadern Hospital. Since 2005, we have sponsored an apartment in this house, helping families stay together during this difficult time.
An integration program that helps children and adolescents, both with and without a migrant background, strengthen their cultural identity and successfully integrate into school and community life.
This is an initiative in which employees put together Christmas gift packages for children and adults. Since 2019, residents of orphanages and social welfare homes in the regions where our production facilities are located have been able to look forward to receiving gifts at Christmas.
